RECENT NEWS!!
WE WON!!!! The Jordan Carlson Memorial Tournament in Missoula saw 12 other teams entered beside our 4. The competition sadly was not up to par. Billings Skyview didn't come because of their committment to another tournament, so the Frenchtown teams took the top 4 spots. It was good practice however for the MONTANA ACADEMIC STATE TOURNAMENT.
WE WON!!!!! Wow! Frenchtown captured its first MONTANA ACADEMIC STATE TOURNAMENT!! What a thrill to see Eamon Thomasson (in his last Montana tournament), Mary Brooks, Michael Rebarchik, Kilah Tierney, Zahra Tierney, and Tanner Finney sweep through the 10 team round robin tournament going 9-0. They defeated Billings Skyview by over 200 points in the early rounds. In the play-offs, Frenchtown defeated Sentinel, then edged Skyview by 5 points to win it all!! What a thrill! Eamon and Mary won the MVP awards for the tournament.
Finally 5 team members will travel to St. Louis, Missouri, for the PACE National Academic Tournament on June 9-10. More information will be announced later this month.
Thank you for your support of this very successful and active program of Frenchtown High School. The competitive academic teams here are recognized not only all over Montana, but also in Idaho and Wyoming.

MONTANA ACADEMIC STATE CHAMPIONSHIP - Missoula- April 24 - top teams in the state meet - we finished 2nd last year - WE WON!!
KNOWLEDGE MASTER OPEN SPRING - on computer in Frenchtown. The fall version in December, we finished 2nd in Montana and 16th nationally for schools of 400 students. this spring we finished 2nd in Montana (behind Skyview).
PACE NATIONAL TOURNAMENT - St. Louis, Missouri - June 9-10 - we qualified for this prestigious tournament based on our tournament wins.
