Hello! Welcome to the 8th grade at Frenchtown School District! My name is Emily Landsiedel and I am the Language Arts teacher this year. I am very excited to work with students and parents over the coming months. It is my goal to make my curriculum both challenging and fun through varied reading and writing projects throughout the year. Through these activities, I hope to strengthen students' existing skills while pushing them to new levels.
I would like to work with parents in whatever ways are necessary to help their child succeed at Frenchtown Junior High this year. As a parent, if you have any questions or would like to setup a time to meet with me after school, you can reach me by email at EmilyLandsiedel@ftsd.org. Otherwise, you can call the Junior High office and they'll pass on your voicemail to me. Thank you for working with me to make your child’s experience in middle school the best it can be!Please see https://planbook.com/planbook.html?t=934982&k=broncs for weekly lesson plans, objectives, and homework. Any assignment highlighted in green is coming up due, anything in red is due that day.Biography
As a Helena native, I graduated from Helena High School and then received my Bachelor's degree at The University of Montana in secondary English teaching with a minor in history teaching. After college, I worked for four years at East Helena Public Schools as their 6th and 8th grade Language Arts teacher. After moving from East Helena, my husband and I took 9 months off to travel the world. We visited 25 countries on five continents. If you'd like to know more about our travel experiences and how we pulled it all off, you can take a look at our blog P-EWorldTour.com. Although our trip was life changing for me, I missed teaching every day.
This will be my sixth year teaching full time, and I'm thrilled to come here every day and work with these amazing kids and staff!Class Description(s)
