I graduated from the University of Montana in 1986 and began teaching in Frenchtown. I taught Title 1 Reading for many years, teaching kids in 1st through 6th grades. I've been teaching 2nd grade now for quite some time. Over the years I've coached JH basketball, volleyball, and track. I still coach JH track each spring. I love teaching and coaching.
I've lived in western Montana most of my life. I'm married to Tony Undem. I have two boys, Derek, and JD. My boys are both married now. Derek and Aubrey have two adorable girls, Peyton and Bristol. Peyton is following her dad's footsteps and is attending Frenchtown Elementary. Bristol attends preschool and can't wait to come to "the big school." My youngest son JD, is married to Aimee. He was in the Army and is a helicopter mechanic and flight engineer. He is currently working in Iraq. Aimee is his wife and she is a Registered Dietician. They have lived in Hawaii and Alaska for the last few years. They have just recently returned home to live in Montana with their 2 huge fluffy Newfoundland dogs. Mozzie and Letti are my fur grandbabies. We are so happy to have all of them home in Montana. Tony and I have two dogs, Sophie and Laila, and they are spoiled rotten!
Tony and I own Undem Contracting and we build homes. I love to design and create interiors. We took on a new challenge last summer. We now manage and run Mission Valley Super Oval, the stockcar racetrack just south of Polson. It is quite the adventure! Lots of work and lots of fun! Come up for a Saturday night of racing and say "Hi!"
I love Football, Basketball, Softball, Motocross, Car racing, and many other sports. Go Broncs! Go GRRRIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!
