I grew up in Frenchtown and attend school here starting in 2nd grade, I eventually graduated from FHS in 1996.  I was very active in high school where I played football, wrestled and ran track.  After high school I attended University of Montana-Western on an athletic scholarship for football.  I completed my schooling there with a degree in Physical Education and Health in 2003.  In 2012, I completed my Master's of Education from Grand Canyon University.  I spent two years teaching at Butte Central High School before taking a position in Frenchtown in the fall of 2006.  In the fall of 2014 I moved from the elementary to the junior high school, where I currently teach physical education and health classes.

    Class Description(s)
I teach physical education and health to the 7th and 8th grades student at the junior high.  A normal week in my class has Mondays and Wednesdays devoted to a lesson activity where we focus on learning skills to play a new game or sport.  Tuesdays are the day we do our cardio workout called Stations.  The station workout is a circuit training session involving 8-10 exercises with jogging intervals in between.   The kids usually get about 25 minutes of cardio time during one class period.  Thursdays are our health days, we cover many topics including social, mental and physical health, bullying, prescription and non-prescription drug use, substance abuse and prevention and healthy relationships to mention a few.  "Fun Friday" is the term we use for our Friday classes.  Fun Fridays are usually a throwback fun day where we play a couple of games like tail tag, extinction, fun football or back wall kickball.
