Hello everyone.  My name is Paul Hutchison, and I am thrilled to serve as an educator here at Frenchtown.  Currently, I teach 8th grade U.S. history and coach debate for the high school speech and debate team.
I earned my Montana Educator License with English and history endorsements through the Northern Plains Transition to Teaching program at Montana State University.  While pursuing my certification, I guest taught for over a year at both the Bozeman and Belgrade public school districts, teaching all subjects and grade levels.   In an earlier life, I also guest taught for Columbus City Schools and the Southwestern City School District in central Ohio.  In addition to guest teaching with these two districts, I worked part time as an elementary math tutor.
Originally from Ohio, I earned a dual bachelor degree in English and History from Ohio State University.  As a committed Buckeye, I currently serve the district as neutral mediator in any Bobcat/Grizzly related dispute.  I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, skiing, and just being outside and am consequently very glad to call Missoula, Montana my home.
