     Mr. Robbins

Greetings from 6-Rob!!  My name is Brandon Robbins and this is my first year in Frenchtown.  The past two years I taught 3rd grade in Meeteetse, WY and also served at the Head Boy's Basketball coach.  Originally from Columbus, MT, I have four brothers and come from educational roots.  I am an avid sports fan, with the Florida Gators being my favorite team. I also enjoy being outside, whether it's fishing, hiking, running, or anything else fun and active. I feel especially fortunate to continue coaching here as well, as I am the Assistant Boy's Basketball coach.   I could not be happier or more excited to be living and doing what I’m truly passionate for in this part of Montana.  Within the door of room 106, our classes will be reading, spelling, writing, calculating, discovering, and expanding their knowledge every day.  We will focus reading skills and strategies from our Journey's basil reader, as well as expand their author and genre appreciation through novel studies.  We will have weekly spelling assessments along with periodical book reports and D.E.A.R. time to curve the absence of AR.  6th grade math perplexes the brain into realms of the ever-so-scary but not to be intimidated by, pre-algebra.  Science this year will rock yours sock off, literally.  Our main focuses revolve around the inquiry method related to areas of Earth science. Students will also get to showcase other talents with their specialist teachers in art, P.E., band, choir, and keyboarding.  I would like to send thanks and appreciation to all parents and guardians for supporting the students and staff here at school.  I am thrilled to be working with such an amazing team of teachers and wonderful young minds. #GoBroncs
