    Welcome to Mrs. Long’s Class
Kindergarten is a fun and exciting new experience for students. As the school year progresses, your children will become more independent in my classroom. I will provide students with opportunities to grow both academically and socially. I believe in the importance of fostering the desire in all students, to understand and love the process of learning.

    A Little Bit about Myself

I grew up north of Missoula in the small town of Moiese. It is located at the entrance of the National Bison Range. My family owned a small farm on the Flathead River. I spent much of my free time swimming in that river with my siblings. I developed a strong work ethic, working in the potato fields in the summertime, but I always looked forward to school starting in the fall. I developed a passion for learning and I still love the feeling of being in school. This led me to pursue my Masters degree in teaching and here I am in Frenchtown with a class of my own. Mr. Long teaches at Frenchtown High School and our son also attends Frenchtown Schools.
