*** TRANSPORTATION ALERT ***
Due to an accident on US 93, Bus 4 is delayed for student pick ups.
Hello all, we apologize for the short notice this morning regarding the school closure. We had a power outage yesterday, which triggered Paulson Electric, Missoula Electric Company, and the Frenchtown Fire Department to mobilize and ascend on the North Campus of the Frenchtown School District.
The issue was resolved; however, a similar failure occurred this morning, which prompted the need to close school while trying to resolve the issue and explore deeper into the cause of the power failure. No fire department this morning; however.
School will resume tomorrow as normal. While we still have work to do and an outage could occur again, MEC has a quick fix to power the school back up. The two companies of MEC and Paulson Electric are monitoring two different systems to collect data in order to help find a solution to the cause rather than treating the symptom.
Thank you and we appreciate your understanding even though you were greatly inconvenienced this morning.
Middle School Basketball games today @ Hellgate have been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date. Thank you.
Due to electrical problems on the North campus that we thought were fixed but they showed back up this morning, PK - 12 will be closed for the day, for both students and staff. The power will be out on the North campus until the problem is located and fixed.

MSBB at Hellgate Middle School for 8th grade basketball --- Monday, November 1 , 4:00 and 5:00 pm --- All spectators are required to wear a face mask at all times in Hellgate Middle School to attend the basketball games.
