Frenchtown 5rh Grade Parents—
Due to a couple conflicting school events today the 5th to 6th grade transition meeting for the 2020-2021 school year via zoom has been moved back one week to Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 6:30 pm. A zoom meeting link will be posted on the school website and an email will be sent out to parents on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in the morning for this meeting with the correct link.

Congratulations to Duncan Richardson he has been selected as the February “Elk Student of the Month." The students are selected by their teachers and counselors based on academic excellence, community service, school involvement and leadership.

4th Grade students making passports and working towards the goal of reading 1000 books this year. Great job 4th graders on working hard and trying new things.
Spectrum students in 7th grade have been working on an engineering design project. They are building structures made with only index cards and glue. The structures must be between 20 and 25cm tall and cannot have a mass greater than 85g. The goal of the structure is to hold as much weight as possible. We are looking forward to testing our structures
Congratulations to Abby Sherwood! She received 2nd place in the DAR Good Citizen Scholarship contest!
Our carpentry class built a couple of new picnic tables for outside seating. Great Job!
