These everyday heroes — firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and search and rescue teams — play important roles in our community. Per Policy 1113: “When a trustee vacancy occurs, the remaining trustees shall declare such position vacant and fill the vacancy by appointment. The Board will receive applications from any qualified persons seeking to fill the position after suitable public notice. The Board will appoint one (1) candidate to fill the position.”
If interested in becoming a Frenchtown School District Trustee, please email District Clerk Shauna Anderson at shaunaanderson@frenchtownbroncs.org. The deadline for submitting letters of interest is Monday, September 9, at 12:00 PM.
Two seats are available:
• One with a remaining one year left on a 3-year term.
• One with a remaining two years left on a 3-year term.
If necessary, the Board of Trustees will conduct interviews on either Wednesday, September 11, or Thursday, September 12.
