Frenchtown School District hosted a Veterans Day celebration on the K-5 Campus where community members attended a 2nd grade flag march from King Ranch Golf Couse to Frenchtown Intermediate School. At the Intermediate School Veterans, parents and community members joined for an assembly where Mr. Meyer and University of Montana President/Veteran Seth Bodnar addressed the community. The ceremony was filled with music from the Frenchtown High School Choir, 2nd-5th Grade Music department and the High School Band. All music was to honor our Veterans and thank them for their service. Also, Rod George from Frenchtown American Legion and Staff Sergeant Reeves presented the MIA/POW Memorial. Thanks to John Amen and Sophia Walker for being the Master or Ceremonies for the event. Most of all thank you to all our Veterans across the country for your service!

Did you know: In Montana, when a school bus route includes a bus stop that requires a school child to cross a roadway, the school bus must be equipped with an extended stop arm that partially obstructs the roadway. The board of trustees shall approve each school bus stop that requires a school child to cross a roadway.
