Fall and 6th Grade Science are synonymous with Bug and Leaf Collections. Students were tasked with finding different bugs and insects and then naming them with their common and scientific name. Along with researching their names, students also found out where they can be found and other fun and interesting facts about the particular species. This project coincides with several units we do involving classifying and naming living things. Leaves will be blowing into the classrooms soon, as both projects continue the tradition that beloved teacher, Mrs. Paskey, started many years ago.
